About Me

Plant-based yogi with a lust for travel and helping people thrive!

Having originally trained as an actor, Charlotte’s passion for nature, the environment, and sustainability, led her to swap the theatre for the lecture hall in order to study Environmental Governance in the Netherlands. She followed this with a PhD in Political Philosophy & Ethics at the University of Leicester, in England. It was during the PhD that yoga and meditation came back into Charlotte’s life again, as a way of coping with the stress of studying, working, and trying to keep healthy, all at once. Around the same time she began to develop an interest in nutrition and alternative forms of health and wellness – looking at the individual as a whole – including meditation, exercise, and self-development.

Realising that her true calling lay in helping people achieve optimal health and vibrant living through yoga and other lifestyle changes, she finished the PhD and immediately undertook her first YTT in Ashtanga-Vinyasa yoga with All Yoga in Bali, in 2017. Her love of the Spanish language and her passion for travel eventually took her to Colombia, where she received her certification to teach yoga in Spanish from Flying Tree Yoga. As a naturally ‘yin’ person, and having always been intrigued by indigenous and non-Western approaches to healthcare (such as Traditional Chinese Medicine), Charlotte then trained in Yin Yoga and Chinese Meridians with Annie Au in Mexico in 2018.

Charlotte has taught yoga around the world, in Fiji, Nicaragua, the Blue Mountains (Australia), and Portugal. Now based in Glasgow, Scotland, she teaches Ashtanga-Vinyasa, Vinyasa, and Yin yoga, and is currently finishing her training in Thai Yoga Massage.
